Toast masters - or Masters of Ceremony - are crucial roles to guide the wedding day and keep us all on schedule.

The wonderful mix of the English and Swedish clans present means that we need equally wonderful people to steer the ship.

Siri is your Toast Madame for the weekend. Between a day job as an anaesthetist in Stockholm and spending time volunteering as a doctor in sub-saharan Africa, she has been toast master at more weddings than the bride and groom has had birthdays. To quote Siri 'I would be more stressed not being toast master than actually doing it'.

Toby is your Toast Master for the weekend. His full-time job in London as an intelligence expert in middle-eastern affairs doesn't keep him away from writing 12th century historical fiction at night. He's seen the inside of more pubs than the bride and groom have had hot dinners, an experience that will get him far at Åkarp. In response to being asked to be toastmaster, he replied: 'I love herring, I love schnapps and I love weddings. This is perfect'.

We are more than delighted that Siri and Toby have accepted and know they will do an excellent job at looking after us all on the big day.
